* For PAL PSX and PSOne, you need to modify your Bios chip in order to play backup games from other regions.

IMPORTANT: Locate PINS on the MOD Chip

Please always use this Pin Locator (the left side image) to locate the correct pin when you making the wire connection for the Mod Chip.

For example: PIN 1 is left of the little semi circle below the words "MOD CHIP" on the picture.
Select your PS Model for large and clear  Wire Connection guide:
The sticker on the bottom of the console shows the model number of your Playstation and looks like this: SCPH XXXX (the XXXX stands for the model number).
